Arista Networks (ANET) does not disclose a simple supplier chain. It discloses a silicon-centered web in which Broadcom (AVGO) sits close to the product-development process, while Nvidia (NVDA) appears in connection with GPUs, as a competitor and as a company Arista names in the context of AI neocloud investments. The same names keep turning up in different columns. Corporate org charts have nothing on this.
Broadcom is the clearest recurring tie. In its 10-K, Arista says its product work depends on collaboration with key suppliers such as Broadcom.
"Our product development efforts also depend upon continued collaboration with our key merchant silicon vendors such as Broadcom."

In plainer English, Broadcom is not described merely as a vendor shipping parts. Arista also calls it a merchant-silicon collaborator, and its later filing repeats that product development depends on continued collaboration with key suppliers.
"Our product development efforts also depend upon continued collaboration with our key suppliers, such as Broadcom."

Nvidia occupies a more tangled spot. Arista says InfiniBand and NVLink are often sold with Nvidia GPUs as part of a vertical solution. That places Nvidia silicon alongside Arista’s networking products in the offering described by the filing.
"Both IB and NVLink are often sold as part of a vertical solution along with the GPUs from Nvidia."

The filing also names Nvidia among the companies competing in data-center and campus networking. Arista separately says Nvidia has made significant investments in several AI neoclouds. Those are disclosures about Nvidia’s role in the surrounding market, not a statement that Arista owns a stake in Nvidia.
"The data center and campus networking markets have historically been dominated by Cisco, with competition also coming from other large network equipment and system vendors, including Dell/EMC, Extreme Networks, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Huawei, Juniper…"

Cisco Systems (CSCO), Extreme Networks (EXTR), Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), Nvidia, Keysight Technologies (KEYS) and NetScout Systems (NTCT) all appear in Arista’s competitive disclosures. Arista also names Cisco in a list of industry acquisitions, including Cisco’s purchase of Acacia Communications. Separately, HPE and Extreme Networks identify Arista as a competitor in their own filings. Cogent Communications (CCOI) identifies Arista as a supplier.
Arista names three primary manufacturing partners: Jabil (JBL), Sanmina (SANM) and Foxconn Hon Hai. Arista’s filing states the list without assigning one partner a larger role than the others.
"Our primary manufacturing partners are Jabil Inc., Sanmina Corporation and Foxconn Hon Hai."

That leaves a map with a distinct shape. Broadcom is disclosed as a supplier and product-development collaborator. Nvidia’s GPUs are part of the vertical solutions Arista describes, but Nvidia is also listed as a competitor and tied in the filing to AI neocloud investments. Manufacturing involves three named partners, while the competitive perimeter stretches from Cisco and HPE to specialized monitoring companies. Arista’s disclosed relationships are less a tidy chain than a network diagram with several companies occupying multiple lanes.
