Dolby Laboratories (DLB) has built a remarkably wide relationship map around a narrow commercial core: one named customer, two suppliers, and a much larger collection of partners and distribution channels. The filing disclosures do not quantify revenue concentration, but they do show where Dolby’s standards touch the market: screens, chips, consoles, streaming services, cars and licensing programs.
The most concrete current relationship is in automobiles. Dolby says Qualcomm (QCOM) is integrating its latest technology into a new Snapdragon platform, while Texas Instruments (TXN) has launched chips that support Dolby Atmos. Samsung Display also appears in the same automotive picture, working with Dolby on OLED displays.
"At CES in January 2026, we announced that we have partnered with Qualcomm to integrate Dolby’s latest technology into Qualcomm’s Gen 5 Snapdragon Automotive platform."
Dolby Laboratories, SEC filing dated 2026-01-29
That is a disclosed partnership, not a revenue split or a promise of adoption. It places Dolby inside Qualcomm’s automotive platform and gives the company another route into vehicle audio and video systems.
"Samsung Display is working with Dolby to pre tune its OLED displays for autos to ease manufacturers' adoption of Dolby Vision, and Texas Instruments launched its new family of chips for automakers which support Dolby Atmos."

The automotive chain therefore runs through display technology and semiconductor components as well as Dolby’s own formats. Dolby separately says it relies on key suppliers, with Reliance, Inc. (RS) listed in the supplier disclosures. The filing does not identify Reliance as the provider of a specific product in the supplied sentence.
"OPERATIONS Reliance on key suppliers presents certain risks to our business, many of which are beyond our control ."

The language is broad, but the relationship is explicit: Dolby says key suppliers matter to operations. The filing map does not assign a dollar amount to that exposure.
On the customer side, Roku (ROKU) is the only named customer in the supplied disclosures. Roku also appears as a partner through Access Advance’s VDP program, making it the one company occupying two relationship categories in Dolby’s map.
"Access Advance added 28 new licensees to its HEVC device program, including Hisense, Transsion, Xiaomi, and, in the second quarter, Roku, and added 8 new licensees to its VVC video program, including Oppo, Xiaomi, and MSI."

Roku’s role is thus described through licensing programs rather than a disclosed purchase figure. The overlap is notable because the same name appears in both Dolby’s customer and partner lists, though the filings supplied here do not spell out the commercial terms.
Streaming is the broadest distribution channel. Dolby names Netflix (NFLX) and Amazon (AMZN) among major streaming partners and services enhancing content in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. The map also names Microsoft (MSFT) and Sony (SONY): Dolby Digital Plus supports Windows-based PCs and Mac computers, while Sony’s PlayStation and Microsoft’s Xbox use it for gaming and streaming content.
"Major streaming partners and services such as Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV, Amazon, HBO Max, Paramount+, and other streaming partners and services internationally, continue to enhance content in Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos."

Dolby also owns acquired intellectual property tied to General Electric (GE), after buying all of the equity interests in two GE intellectual-property entities during fiscal 2024. And AMC Entertainment Holdings (AMC) calls Dolby a partner in its own filing. Stanley Black & Decker (SWK) appears in Dolby’s competitive disclosures only because its Stanley Cup Finals broadcast was available in Dolby. That is less a business tie than a reminder that Dolby’s formats show up wherever content is distributed.
These are relationships disclosed in SEC filings, mapped by jodie’s analytics. This is not investment advice.
