SiteOne Landscape Supply (SITE) is not tied to one neat corner of the landscaping business. Its filings sketch a chain that runs from Toro (TTC) and other named suppliers, through landscape contractors such as BrightView (BV), into a competitive set that includes Home Depot (HD) and Pool (POOL). Then there is Deere (DE), which appears in SiteOne’s corporate origin story and in an older liability arrangement.
Start with what SiteOne buys. In its Feb. 19, 2026 SEC filing, the company names a long list of large suppliers:
"Some of our largest suppliers include Hunter Industries, Rain Bird, Oldcastle, Cresline, Envu, Turf Care Supply, NDS, Toro, Spears Manufacturing, and Techo-Bloc."
SiteOne / SEC filing / Feb. 19, 2026
Toro is the public company in that list. The disclosure does not assign percentages or identify a sole source. It does something more basic and useful: it puts Toro inside SiteOne’s disclosed purchasing network alongside irrigation, turf-care, and hardscape names.
SiteOne also identifies Myers Industries (MYE) and JUNS in a hardscape distribution relationship. Its Oct. 29, 2025 filing says:
"Myers, Tampa, and Jupiter, Florida, Hardscape.com is a wholesale distributor of hardscapes to landscape professionals."
SiteOne / SEC filing / Oct. 29, 2025
The sentence is not a tidy corporate family tree. It is a filing breadcrumb, connecting the disclosed supplier set to Hardscape.com and its Florida locations. SEC prose occasionally arrives with the furniture still in the box.
On the other side of the counter, SiteOne names the landscape companies it sells to. BrightView and Yellowstone Landscape (YSGL) are among the public-ticker relationships in the list:
"Some of our largest customers include BrightView, Weed Man, Juniper Landscaping, Aptive Environmental, Sperber, Yellowstone Landscape, Heartland, and Davey Tree."
SiteOne / SEC filing / Feb. 19, 2026
Again, SiteOne says “some of our largest,” not how much each customer represents. The disclosed customer map is therefore broad, but it is not anonymous: two large landscape-service operators are explicitly attached to SiteOne’s sales channel.
The map widens through distributors. Cohen & Cohen (COHN) has one Ottawa location, while Newsom Seed, identified in the filing under Fulton Financial (FULT), has two Maryland locations:
"With one location in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, Cohen & Cohen is a wholesale distributor of hardscapes to landscape professionals."
SiteOne / SEC filing / Feb. 19, 2026
"With two locations in Fulton, Maryland, Newsom Seed is a wholesale distributor of seed and agronomic products to landscape professionals."
SiteOne / SEC filing / Feb. 19, 2026
Those disclosures place SiteOne alongside specialist distribution outlets, not just manufacturers and end customers.
The sharpest corporate tie is Deere. SiteOne says its parent indirectly owns all of Landscape Holding, which it acquired from Deere in 2013:
"SiteOne Landscape Supply, Inc. (“Holdings” or the “Parent”) indirectly owns 100 % of the membership interest in SiteOne Landscape Supply Holding, LLC (“Landscape Holding” or “subsidiary”), which it acquired from Deere & Company on December 23, 2013 (the…"
SiteOne / SEC filing / Apr. 29, 2026
A separate filing also says Deere agreed to cover the first $2.5 million of a liability, with SiteOne’s exposure capped at $2.4 million. Deere is therefore disclosed as a former owner and a party to an old liability arrangement, not simply a name in the industry background.
SiteOne’s financing disclosure adds JPMorgan Chase (JPM) to the map. Its borrowers entered a credit agreement amendment with JPMorgan in 2021. And across the competitive field, SiteOne names Home Depot’s Heritage Landscape Supply Group and Pool’s Horizon Distributors among its top nine competitors. The disclosed web is unusually legible: suppliers at the front, contractors at the back, specialist distributors around the edges, Deere in the company’s lineage, JPMorgan in the capital structure, and two competitors across the aisle.
These are relationships disclosed in SEC filings, mapped by jodie’s analytics. This is not investment advice.
